Blast kills 18 people in Pakistan
Islamabad, Jun 28: 18 people were killed and more than 40 injured in an explosion that occurred in Hyderabad city of the southern provision of Pakistan on Monday, Jun 28.
A senior police official said that the explosion was accidental, happened from an LPG container at a busy transport hub in the city.
No terror connection has been found with the blast, added the police official.
The blast was so powerful that it demolished several buildings and damaged trucks and buses parked in the area.
Rescue teams rushed to the site to remove bodies and the rescued the injured from the debris.
The officer said that about 40 people, who were injured in the blast, were taken to nearby hospitals.
