Indian flag goof-up in Islamabad mars dialogue

Islamabad, Jun 26: While Indian Home Minister, P Chidambaram and his Pakistan Interior Minister, Rehman Malik smiled for photo-ops during a crucial meeting aimed at healing the strained Indo-Pak relationship, the media spotted that the Indian flag that was placed on the table was upside down.

The Indian flag faux pas added to the akwardness of the situation as the Indian and Pakistani leaders met to carry forward the Indo-Pak dialogue, hampered by terrorism and specifically the Mumbai terror attacks 2008.

However, Mr Chidambaram chose to play down the goof-up saying that it was just a mistake and it should not be turned into an issue.
