Strip club sues BP boss for loss of business due to oil spill
London, June 21 (ANI): The owners of a strip club in New Orleans have sued BP's boss Tony Hayward because they say the Gulf of Mexico oil spill has cost them their business.
Owners of The Mimosa Dancing Girls say that fishermen, who usually go to the club, now can't afford it with the oil spill, the Sun reported.
BP is expected to start raising the cash to cover damages as early as next week through a 6.75billion pounds bond sale, and is also understood to be in talks to raise 13.5billion pounds through loans, with another 13.5billion pounds from asset sales.
BP has already paid 70million pounds to residents along the US Gulf Coast. (ANI)
