Suicide bombing rattles Iraq again, 8 killed
Baghdad, Jun 21: A suicide bomber detonated explosives in a market in Shirqat, a Iraqi town located north of the country, killing at least eight people and injuring ten.
The bombing took place on Sunday, Jun 20. Out of the eight people killed, six were six policemen, an interior ministry source informed an international news agency.
The source added that the suicide attacker detonated the explosive belt after the policemen as well as civilians gathered at the spot, where a roadside bomb had gone off minutes earlier, but it had not killed or hurt anyone.
