25 more Taliban killed across FATA as Pak forces continue offensive
Peshawar, June 21 (ANI): At least 25 Taliban operatives were killed and 23 others injured as Pakistan security forces continued to pound militant hideouts across the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
According to reports, 18 Taliban extremists including a top commander were killed and 13 injured in two separate incidents in Orakzai Agency.
Officials said that 13 extremists were killed and 10 injured when fighter jets bombed their hideouts in Upper Orakzai.
Several hideouts were also destroyed in Ghotak, Tor Samt and Kot Kaley areas of the agency, The Daily Times reports.
Another five Taliban, including commander Abid Afridi, were killed and another three injured in an explosion at an ammunition depot in Sheikhan Kaley area of Orakzai.
Meanwhile in Mohmand Agency, the forces backed by helicopter gunship killed four Taliban terrorists and injured another 10. (ANI)
