Naked US woman walks 500m with broken leg to get help

Melbourne, June 15 (ANI): A woman in the US is said to have walked naked for 500m with a broken arm and leg to get help after a motorcycle crash.

Jennifer Smith, 30, and Steven Sheals, 38, who were both naked, sustained injuries when the motorcycle they were on veered off a road and into a ditch, reports the Courier Mail.

Police in Jacksonville, North Carolina, revealed that the two had been thrown off the bike when Sheals failed to negotiate a curve.

According to the Highway Patrol, Smith managed to walk half a kilometre for help despite her injuries, and she told a trooper at the scene that she used a stick for support and walked to the office of a nearby landfill company.

Police said alcohol was a factor in the pre-dawn crash. (ANI)
