Mukherjee to address I-T chief commissioners conference tomorrow

New Delhi, June 8 (ANI): Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the 26th Annual Conference of Chief Commissioners and Directors General of Income Tax, here on Wednesday.

The two-day conference will deliberate strategies to achieve the tax collection targets.

The conference will also deliberate ways to consolidate and refine these schemes to further improve taxpayer services.

In order to make the tax administration more efficient and effective, the conference will deliberate upon organizational changes including augmenting manpower and delegation of financial powers. (ANI)
