CJM postpones Babri mosque demolition hearing
Rae Bareli, Jun 8: The court hearing of Babri Mosque demolition case has been postponed to Jul 12, by the special court Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM).
KP Singh, from CBI Counsel informed that CJM Gulab Singh, who was hearing the case has been transferred and the notification nominating a new magistrate is yet to be issued by the High Court. Jul 12, 2010 has been fixed as the next date of hearing, by the court officials.
The senior IPS officer, Anju Gupta is currently being cross examined by the defence counsel. She was the personal security officer of BJP leader L K Advani on Dec 6, on the day when Babri Masjid was demolished in Ayodhya.
