Bradford heroin addicts selling bodies for pounds20- pounds30

London, May 29 (ANI): A lot of women in Bradford, addicted to drugs, are getting into prostitution.

Many are ready to sell their bodies for 20pounds- 30pounds, a sum enough for two hits of heroin.

A friend of murdered Shelley Armitage confessed she was addicted to heroin.

The pal claimed drugs addiction eventually leads to prostitution.

"All the women who work the beat are ill. It's either heroin, crack, alcohol or methadone," the Daily Star quoted the pal, who wanted to remain anonymous, as saying.

The friend added: "They don't deserve this to happen to them."

Also, a landlady who owns a pub near Bradford's red-light area said prostitution had changed from Lumb Lane into an industrial area near Thornton Road.

She said: "These women don't deserve to die. They are all somebody's daughter." (ANI)
