Ditch Potter for the real world of science, says vacuum cleaner creator
London, May 28 (ANI): Inventor of the vacuum cleaner, Sir James Dyson has said that the Harry Potter movie and book series is harmful for children as they are being taken away from the actual science world.
Dyson feels that this will lead to UK's diminished expertise in science.
He also said that the children should be inspired by real life heroes instead of the imaginary ones, reports The Sun.
Dyson thinks too much attention has been given to movie series like Harry Potter and Twilight. The prior objective should be to focus the children's amazing talent and curiosity on science, he said.
Dyson's charity, James Dyson Foundation, carries out workshops throughout Britain. He thinks people should discover their talent with science and try to make a difference. (ANI)
