Tattoo artist pops the question by inking proposal on his own leg!
New York, May 27 (ANI): A tattoo artist got a rather arty idea to propose his girlfriend-he popped the question by inking it on his leg-which netted him the 'yes' he'd hoped for.
Joe Wittenberg tattooed the question on his own lower leg, got down on one knee in front of his girlfriend, and simply rolled up his pants so that she could see the tattoo.
"He scored some points for putting my name on him for sure," the New York Daily News quoted Rachel Streeter, as telling Sandiego6.com.
When asked how he managed to write on himself, Wittenberg said: "I made a stencil and just followed it along."
He said that he didn't dwell on what might have happened if his girlfriend turned him down.
So far, there's no official date for a ceremony for the California couple, who got engaged on Mother's Day and who have a 6-month-old boy, Liam. (ANI)
