Rathore sentenced to 1.5 years in jail
Chandigarh, May 25:The sessions court of Chandigarh has dismissed the plea of SPS Rathore and extended his imprisonment to one and half years.
The sessions court today said in its verdict that the court dismisses the petition filed by Rathore and based on the plea filed by CBI and the victim's family extends Rathore's Imprisonment to one and half years.
The verdict is applied from today and Mr rathore will be taken directly into custody. Though he can appeal in high court but that is only after he gets the copy of the judgment from the court but that will require some time.
Mr Rathore had filed the plea in the Sessions court challenging the verdict for Six months of Imprisonment given to him by CBI trial court in Ruchika Girohtra Molestation case
