Sarah Ferguson gets measly $21,500 a year from Prince Andrew

New York, May 25 (ANI): Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, has been revealed to get just 21,500 dollars a year from her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, based on his Navy salary at the time of the 1996 divorce.

After her marriage ended, Fergie is said to have owed more than 7.1 million dollars to Coutts Bank.

And in order to make money she moved to New York, working as a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers and Avon, writing children's books, and doing cameos on TV shows like "Friends".

In 2006, she invested herself and her life savings of 860,000 dollars into a health food and vitamin company, but when it folded in 2009, she reportedly lost 1.4 million dollars.

She is also being sued in the United Kingdom for another 200,000 dollars in unpaid debts.

"I have the biggest heart and the biggest of everything," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling the News of the World's undercover reporter.

"But I have zero money. I have nothing," she added. (ANI)
