Pak Taliban leader warns of more attacks on US

Islamabad, May 3: Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud, who was considered to be killed in Jan 2010, resurfaced with new video dated early April, warning United States of more terror attacks, the SITE monitoring group said on Monday, May 3.

"The time is very near when our fidaeen (soldiers) will attack the American states in the major cities," Mehsud said in the Internet video alleged to have been made on April 4, SITE reported.

Mehsud, was reported to have been killed in Jan 2010 in a US air strike. However, Pakistani intelligence officials were quoted as saying in some reports a week ago that he was alive.
