Congress Core group meet over

New Delhi, April 18 (ANI): The Congress core group which met at the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's residence at 7, Race Course Road here in the capital to take a decision on Union Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor concluded its meeting here on Sunday at 9.00 p.m.

The meet had started at 7.00 p.m.

In the wake of the today's meeting, Congress spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi denied that his party was reeling under any pressure.

Singhvi, however on the Tharoor issue said "some decision will be taken soon."

Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, Union Home Minister P.Chidambaram, Defense Minister A.K.Antony, and Sonia's political secretary Ahmed Patel attended the meet held at PM's residence. (ANI)
