Melbourne, April 10 (ANI): According to a new research, one in every ten Australian teenagers falls victim to cyber bullies.

Cyber bullying includes sending or posting awful messages and photos through the Internet in a couple of weeks.

The research by Child Health Promotion Research Centre located at Western Australia's Edith Cowan University says that the individuals who are being cyber bullied are also being bullied face-to-face, reports News.com.au.

Dona Cross, professor and head of the centre, informed the National Centre Against Bullying Conference in Melbourne that schemes to combat cyber bullying should not be kept apart. Other forms of bullying should also be dealt with.

"About 10 per cent of young people report that they're being cyber bullied in Australia at the moment every few weeks or more often. I think what's really important here is that 92 per cent f young people reported that they were being both cyber bullied and face-to-face bullied," she said. (ANI)
