Gallup poll says 49 percent would re-elect incumbent member of Congress
Washington, Apr.9 (ANI): Only 49 percent of Americans would re-elect their member of Congress, according to a new Gallup Poll.
Forty percent said their member does not deserve re-election, reports Politico.
Asked if most members deserve re-election, only 28 percent said yes. Sixty-five percent did not believe most members of Congress deserve to return to Washington.he poll, released late Wednesday, shows a strong anti-incumbent swing just in the past year, with the percentage of those who said most members do not deserve re-election spiking from the low 50s up to 65 percent.
The poll was conducted March 26-28 and has a margin of error of four percentage points. (ANI)
