US teen sells 7-yr-old sister for sex

Trenton, Apr 1: A 7-year-old girl was allegedly sold off to around seven men at weekend party by her 15-year-old sister, police said on Wednesday, Mar 31.

The teenager was arrested by the police for forcing her sister, who had gone along with her to a party held at an apartment at Rowan Towers, a high-rise complex, to have sex with several men on Sunday, Mar 28.

According to Trenton police Capt Joseph Juniak, the teenager asked her sister to allow men to touch her, from whom she had collected money. She handed some of the money to her younger sister and asked to comply with what she had said.

"It went from touching to straight out assault and rape. They threatened to kill her if she screamed or told anyone," Junaik said.

The shocked child was later taken home by two strangers, while her sister chose to stay behind.

The child had just returned home when the police reached her house following a missing report filed by their parents after both of them failed to turn up by 4:30 pm.

The teenager, whose name has been retained because she is a juvenile, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, promoting prostitution and other crimes.

Police said the they are making efforts to trace the people who have attended the party and reviewing surveillance videos installed in the building.
