Osama warns against execution of 9/11 mastermind

Dubai, Mar 26: Warning against the execution of self confessed 9/11 attacks mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Al-Qaeda Chief, Osama Bin Laden on Thursday, Mar 25, warned that the execution of Khalid Mohamed would be retaliated with the killing of US soldiers.

"The day America will take such decision to execute Khalid Mohamed and any others it would have taken a decision to execute whoever we capture," Bin Laden said in the latest audio record, broadcast on TV channel.

Osama said that US President Barack Obama was no different from former US President George Bush and he was 'following the footsteps of his predecessor'.

"The politicians in the White House were practicing injustice against us and still they are. Especially by supporting Israel in its continuous occupation of Palestine.

"They used to think that America across the oceans is protected from the rage of the oppressed until our reaction was loudly heard at your home on the 9/11 with Gods help," he said in the recording.

Osama's warning came at the backdrop of Obama administration's announcement that Khalid Mohammed and four other accused in the 9/11 attacks will be tried at a New York courthouse, few steps away from where the World Trade Centre once stood.

The accused are at present held at the Guantanamo as they await trial in connection with the Sep 11, 2001 attacks in which almost 3,000 people, mostly in New York were killed.

Earlier on Jan 24, Osama while claiming responsibility for the foiled Christmas eve terror attacks, warned US of more terror strikes.
