'Princess Diana was banned from partying with Spandau Ballet'

London, February 26 (ANI): Princess Diana was banned by royal aides from partying with the British band Spandau Ballet in the 1980s, the group's guitarist Gary Kemp has claimed.

Kemp made the revelation ahead of an upcoming concert by the reunited band in Belgrade, Serbia.

"We met her three times. She was shy but you could have fun with her," the Daily Star quoted Kemp as saying.

"She said she wanted to go out clubbing with us but said she couldn't because of 'them'," he added. (ANI)
