Barbaric Taliban justice: Court amputates hands of five 'thieves' in Orakzai
Islamabad, Feb.20 (ANI): In yet another display of its barbarism, a Taliban court in the restive Orakzai agency amputated hands of five people who were charged with theft.
According to The Daily Times, the Taliban court administered the inhuman decision in the Dabori region of the agency in full public view.
Meanwhile, security forces in the region apprehended 15 people, including the Hangu tehsil commissioner and his brother for having links with militants.
Security forces raided the house of senior tribal region Haji Faizullah and arrested Haji Aminullah and his brother following which violence erupted in the region.
Agitators took to the streets against the arrest and forced a complete shutdown of shops in Hangu. (ANI)
