Pak Punjab Governor sends roses to Sharif on Valentine's Day!
Islamabad, Feb. 15 (ANI): In a surprising move, Pakistan Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer sent a bunch of red roses to PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif as a friendly gesture on the occasion of Valentine's Day.
Taseer also forwarded a message of "friendship and love" to Sharif, the Daily Times reports.
He also thanked Sharif for "criticising him" during a news conference in Islamabad.
Taseer told reporters that he was thankful to Sharif for "mentioning him" during his news conference in Islamabad.
He termed the democratic system in Pakistan a model for the entire world, where the media enjoyed complete freedom and the government was following the policy of reconciliation. (ANI)
