Man stabs estranged wife to death at Walmart

Suwanee, Feb 15: A man stabbed his estranged wife to death following a heated argument over the custody of their children in Walmart parking lot, police in Georgia said.

27-year-old Shelley Dyan Dunn was stabbed by her husband Phillip Chad Dunn, 28, who later stabbed himself after they got involved in argument outside the store in the city about 30 miles northeast of Atlanta, Suwanee police news release said.

While Shelley reportedly succumbed to her injuries at a nearby hospital, Phillip who is expected to survive the injury, is in custody.

Refusing to disclose their age, police said that the children were present.

The charges against Phillip Dunn were pending till Sunday, Feb 14, night, said police captain Cass Mooney, adding that he was not aware whether Phillip has a lawyer.
