Princess Beatrice to become 'first royal to run marathon'
London, Feb 1 (ANI): Princess Beatrice is set to become the first royal to participate in a marathon run, it has emerged.
The 21-year-old, who is taking part in April's London Marathon, will also have a bodyguard in tow, reports the Daily Star.
Beatrice will be part of Sir Richard Branson's Virgin team.
The marathon sponsored by Branson will see the princess raise money for the charity Children In Crisis, founded by her mum Sarah Ferguson, 50.
Beatrice is practising for the big day by running around Hyde Park and the grounds of the Queen's Scottish pile, Balmoral. (ANI)
