Stolen dog walks 400 miles in three years to find owner!
London, Jan 25 (ANI): A German shepherd, which was stolen, is said to have travelled 400 miles in three years to reunite with its owner in Italy.
Rocky, who had been adopted as a puppy in 2005 from a dog home, had been stolen from his owner Ibrahim Fawal, reports the Scotsman.
The children adored the dog and Fawal used to take him for long rides on his scooter.
But in the summer of 2007 while the family was on holiday the dog was snatched and Fawal gave up hope of ever seeing him again.
Rocky was later dumped and adopted by another family 400 miles away in Salerno, but he kept trying to escape and eventually did so.
When he was found with blistered paws and looking painfully thin near Pisa, he was taken to a vet who discovered a tattoo on him, which helped in tracking down Fawal. (ANI)
