Bihar, Kolkata warned of Taliban-trained bombers
Patna, Jan 4: Eastern and East Central Railway (ECR) zones have been put on alert based on intelligence inputs on the entry of Taliban-trained suicide squads into Bihar and metropolises like Kolkata.
Official sources on Monday, Jan 4 revealed that the Senior divisional security commissioner of the Railway Protection Force of East Central Railway NK Sinha informed the superintendents of railway police in Bihar on the inputs.
"We have sounded an alert and special attention is being paid to guard vital installations in the wake of the inputs about possible attacks by Taliban-trained suicide squads," they said.
Superintendents of railway police at Patna, Bhojpur, Buxar, Jehanabad, Nawada, Gaya, Nalanda, Lakhisarai, Jamui and Begusarai have reportedly received the letter warning of the infiltration by suicide squads.
