9-year-old Brit girl survives 30ft plunge from window!

London, Jan 4 (ANI): A young British girl is said to have had a lucky escape when she jumped out of a second-floor flat window at a New Year's Eve party and survived.

The girl, aged 9, had been playing a game with three friends in which they took turns to imitate their favourite cartoon characters.

In her excitement she leapt out of the flat in Plymouth, Devon, and fell 30ft on to a grassy bank below.

"I heard her screaming. We just ran out and covered her with clothes. It was horrendous," the Daily Express quoted neighbour Brian Haydon as saying.

She is now recovering in hospital with a broken leg and a cut face, and police have ruled out foul play. (ANI)
