Di's ex-butler to be joined by wife in Florida?
London, January 2 (ANI): Former member of the British Royal Household Paul Burrell is set to be joined by his wife Maria in America permanently.
The 51-year-old came under fire for capitalising on his connections with the royal family, especially when he was butler to Diana, Princess of Wales.
Burrell, who came out with two tell-all books, ditched native Britain and went on to live across the Atlantic, leaving behind his wife of 25 years.
"Paul has long made it clear he prefers to be in America where he gets a kinder reception but Maria has been more keen to maintain ties in Britain. The plan is for both Paul and Maria to live in Florida permanently," the Daily Express quoted a family insider as saying.
The insider added: "People used to say Paul was Diana's rock when she was alive but these days it's more a case of Maria being Paul's rock.
"Despite all the problems they've endured in recent years, Paul and Maria want to live out their days happily together in America." (ANI)
