Real Alice in Wonderland book fetches $115k at US auction
London, Dec 20 (ANI): A rare edition of Alice in Wonderland given to the real Alice has fetched 115,000 dollars at an auction.
Written by Lewis Carroll, the copy belonged to 10-year-old Alice Liddell, the girl who inspired Alice.
Another first edition sold for 40,000 dollars, reports The BBC.
The books were being sold by the American football star and children's book collector Pat McInally.
They went under the hammer at Profiles In History auction house in California. (ANI)
