5 container bombs, detonators seized in Bihar

Jamui, Dec 19: Special Task Force (STF) of Bihar police and CRPF personnel seized five container bombs and detonators during a joint operation in the Bihar's Thari forest.

The security personnel seized the items on Friday, Dec 18 from the forest located in the naxal-hit district of Jamui, the police informed on Saturday, Dec 19.

Container bombs weighing up to 75 kg along with few meters of fuse wires, which are used for laying landmines, were recovered.

Following this, a combing operation has been launched in the area to nab the naxalites.
