'Frustrated' Rachida Dati 'can't stand' European Parliament

London, Dec 16 (ANI): France's former justice minister Rachida Dati has been caught on camera moaning she 'can't stand it any more' in her new post as an MEP.

The 44-year-old member of Nicolas Sarkozy's rightwing UMP party has been caught on camera apparently complaining about her job and warning that her first term in office was likely to be a struggle, reports The Telegraph.

"I can't stand it any more," Dati was heard saying in a conversation with a friend on her mobile phone in Strasbourg. "I think something's going to snap before I finish my term."

After being ejected from Sarkozy's cabinet, the 44-year-old politician had once complained that she had no desire to become an MEP.

Encouraged by Sarkozy, to become an MEP after allegations of incompetence and damaging media appearances, she made the move in June. (ANI)
