Princess Di's butler fails to find buyers for UK house and shop
London, Dec 7 (ANI): Princess Diana's infamous butler Paul Burrell is facing a double blow as he cannot fund any buyers for his house as well as the flower shop next door.
It was recently reported that the Royal blabbermouth, who now lives in America, has been unable to sell his four-bedroom Georgian home in the Cheshire village of Farndon, despite it being on the market for over a year.
And now, it has been reported that his hopes of flogging his famous flower shop next door are also dwindling.
Burrell had put the business premises on the market for 600,000 pounds back in the spring, but he hasn't found a buyer as yet.
"Selling his house in England was already proving a headache for Paul, but it's been made worse by the fact he can't sell his business premises either. As hard as he tries, it seems he can't sever his links with England," the Daily Express quoted a neighbour as saying.
Currently, the flower shop, which bears Burrell's name, continues to be open for business.
Paul himself is very rarely seen behind the counter, preferring to pursue business interests in the US in recent years.
"Paul has a lot of money tied up in the business premises and it's obviously proving very frustrating for him that he can't cash in on his British assets," added a friend. (ANI)
