Peshawar, Dec 3: Just a day after a suicide attack targeted the Pakistan Navy Headquarters in Islamabad, a bomb blast near a Peshwar police check post injured four people.

A powerful explosion took place when a timed device placed beneath a bridge close to the check post near the Peshawar University detonated on Thursday, Dec 3.

Ambulances were rushed in and the injured were immediately taken to hospitals.

Among the four injured in the blast, three were policemen.

This attack adds to the long list of terror strikes targeting Pakistan's security forces.
