Retd Pak Major held for Headley -Rana links

Islamabad, Nov 25: Retired Pakistan Major has been arrested in connection with David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana terror links, LeT operatives arrested by FBI for plotting terror attacks on India

Informing that the major was in contact with both the accused, Chief military spokesman Major General Athar Abbas said that the arrested major is being interrogated by intelligence services.

The unidentified major who was arrested in Rawalpindi is reported to be the individual A mentioned in FBI affidavit.

FBI had earlier said that Headley had travelled to Pakistan to meet Ilyas Kashmiri, chief of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(POK) section of Harakat-Ul Jihad Islami(HUJI) with Individual A.

The Major has been taken into custody following FBI information on the email and telephonic exchange between the Major and David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana.
