Murdoch doesn't consider Obama a racist, clarifies spokesman
Washington, Nov. 11 (ANI): News Corporation chief Rupert Murdoch, who was facing flak for allegedly suggesting that Barack Obama is "a racist", has clarified that he doesn't consider the US President to be racist at all.
During his interview with Sky News Australia, Murdoch's comments were interpreted by some as being in agreement with Fox News host Glenn Beck's view that President Obama is "a racist."
Murdoch had said that the president "did make a very racist comment" and seemed to indicate he thought Beck was right in making the controversial claim, Politico reports.
But News Corp. spokesperson Gary Ginsberg said that Murdoch "does not at all, for a minute, think the president is a racist."
Ginsberg said that's not the case, but did not comment further on the interview. (ANI)
