Google sued by F1 racer
Sao Paulo, Nov 10: Google has been sued by Formula 1 racer Rubens Barrichello of USD 500,000 for hosting a fake online profile in Orkut according to media report on Nov 9.
The case for damaged was filed against Google who had to pay a daily fine of USD 590 which eventually led to the removal of Barrichello page from the social networking site.
The case which was lodge in July 2006 could lead to an increase in the fine to USD 700,000 for the internet giant which has 300 fake Barrichello online profile in Orkut according to an order by the 15th district court of Sao Paulo.
