Washington, October 16(ANI): The 6-year-old boy from Colorado, who raised alarm after he was thought to have floated off in a homemade balloon only to be later found hiding at home, has unknowingly hinted that it was a publicity stunt by his family.

Falcon, who received media attention after the incident replied to his father's question, "Why didn't you come out?" by saying, "You had said we did this for a show.
However, the father Richard Heene dismissed allegation that it was a popularity stunt.
"That's horrible after the crap we just went through. No," Fox News quoted him as saying after the interview on CNN.
Richard and wife Mayumi have tasted fame before by appearing on ABC reality show "Wife Swap" twice.
Also, Richard has his own amateur video series on YouTube in which he sizes up various pop culture phenomena.
Earlier, a local sheriff in Fort Collins, Colo., had cleared that there was no signs of a hoax.
