Essex Fritzl' who preyed on daughter for three decades jailed for 12 yrs

London, Oct 8 (ANI): A 68-year-old man, from Harlow, in Essex, was jailed for 12 years yesterday after a court heard he had sex with his daughter over a 33-year period and fathered two of her children.

The man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was branded depraved and wicked by a judge at Chelmsford Crown Court after pleading guilty to incest, rape and indecent assault.

His daughter is now 45 and the mother of two teenagers, who had believed that their father was their grandfather, reports The Times.

Judge David Turner, QC, said: "You dragged your daughter into a grotesque fantasy world of your wicked making.

"You held her in your psychological grip, limiting her freedom, her movements and other relationships, curtailing her autonomy, exploiting her vulnerability, conditioning compliance.

"This was a grotesque breach of trust. Her childhood was horribly betrayed. Two children were born of this sexual depravity."

The case mirrors that of Josef Fritzl, the Austrian man who imprisoned his daughter for 24 years and fathered seven children with her. (ANI)
