Malay girl accuses dad of rape to run away with beau

Kuala Lumpur, Oct 7 (ANI): A Malaysian teenager reportedly landed her father in trouble by accusing him of raping her, only to run away with her boyfriend.

The police have said that the 16-year-old packed her bags last week, and tried to run away from home, but when her father found out, he started questioning and scolding her, reported the Harian Metro.

The annoyed girl lodged a police report accusing her father of raping her.

Her complaint eventually landed her father in the lockup for a night, while the girl was brought to the hospital for a medical check-up.

After the results showed no signs of rape, the girl left a note to the doctor and admitted that she had made up the story so she could continue being with her boyfriend.

Ampang OCPD Asst Comm Abd Jalil Hassan said the matter was a misunderstanding between father and daughter.

He said that the girl had not expected that her father would land in so much trouble. (ANI)
