Levi Johnston stars as pistachio pitchman in new ad

Washington, October 6 (ANI): Levi Johnston, the former boyfriend of Sarah Palin's daughter, has starred as a pistachio pitchman in a new ad.

Johnston, 19, was the subject of extensive media scrutiny after he fathered a child with Bristol Palin, 18, last year out of wedlock.

The teenager was later engaged to Bristol but split from the mother of his son earlier this year, reports The Politico.

Now, Johnston is shown munching a nut in the ad for a pistachio company's "Get Crackin'" campaign with a bodyguard with the voice-over: "Now Levi Johnston does it with protection."

The reference was said to be about him eating a pistachio and not about the realisation that using condoms is a good idea. (ANI)
