Shower radio voted Worst Household Gadget of All Time
London, Sept 25 (ANI): The waterproof shower radio has been named the worst household gadget of all time in a new UK poll.
The shower radio was voted the worst gadget due its tuning and volume problems.
The battery-powered candles were voted the second worst gadget, followed by electric nail file at third.
The classic 1980s SodasStream drink-maker and the Teasmaid wrapped up the top five.
Half of women surveyed during The Sheilas' Wheels Home Insurance study called the shower radio 'pointless' while 41 per cent labelled the electric candle 'ridiculous'
Thirty-eight per cent said the electric nail file was 'lazy' and soda streams were dubbed 'silly' despite being a phenomenon back in the eighties.
"Women love trying out time-saving gadgets that can help them to tackle the daily challenge of juggling careers and family life," the Telegraph quoted Jacky Brown of Sheilas' Wheels as saying.
"But many new gizmos which appear incredibly useful at purchase, just end up collecting dust and taking up cupboard space before too long," Brown added.
Other gadgets included pancake makers, fondue sets and electric popcorn makers.
