No more tweets please: Sonia to Tharoor

New Delhi, Sep 22: Sonia Gandhi, the Congress chief in a meeting with Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor on Tuesday, Sep 22, wanted an end to the Twitter controversy, and requested him not to make such tweets in the future.

Tharoor met Gandhi for 20 minutes after he returned from his official visit to Liberia and Ghana.

However, Tharoor after the meeting refused to interact with the media.

His comment on his Twitter last week terming travel in economy class as 'cattle class' evoked controversy and arguments from all corners.

Tharoor would also meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh later on Tuesday, Sep 22.
