Kiwi man strips, gropes woman passed out on Slippery Nipple Cocktails

London, Sep 17 (ANI): A Kiwi financier has been jailed for 30 months after he stripped and groped a woman in a West End pub alcove, after she passed out from consuming Slippery Nipple cocktails at a party.

Friends of the 29-year-old PA had moved her into a rest room at 37-year-old Justin von Tunzelman's London office to sleep off her stupor, but the New Zealander sneaked in and took her clothes off.

The investment consultant claimed drink-induced amnesia, but was found guilty of the sex assault following a trial at Southwark Crown Court in July.

It also emerged that he has prior convictions in his homeland for two booze-related crimes, one was for urinating in the street and the other for a brawl.

In an impact statement the victim told how the experience had affected her confidence and left her "traumatised".

"He took advantage of me when I was in no condition to stop him or do anything about what he was doing," the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told the jury she had no recollection of von Tunzelman's advances.

But she could remember drinking four champagne cocktails, and having "five or six" Slippery Nipples - shots of Baileys and vodka.

Evidence of the sexual assault came from three witnesses who were there throughout the evening.

Passing sentence, Judge Stephen Robbins told von Tunzelman: "You must be punished for this appalling conduct. Alcohol has been the cause of your downfall."

"This case illustrates only too clearly the dangers of office binge drinking, of cocktails and spirit shots lined up on a free bar, paid for by the company," he stated.

The client manager, who was sacked from his job at asset management company P-Solve over the case, may be deported after he has served his sentence.

He will have to register indefinitely as a sex offender.

Von Tunzelman, of Forest Hill, London, denied two charges of sexual assault last year, he was convicted of one and cleared of the second. (ANI)
