Jesse Jackson offered spiritual solace to Chelsea during Lewinsky scandal
New York, September 15 (ANI): Reverend Jesse Jackson offered spiritual solace to Bill Clinton's daughter Chelsea during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, a new book claims.
Pulitzer Prize winner Taylor Branch has made the allegation in his upcoming tome 'The Clinton Tapes: Wrestling History With the President'.
Branch claims that Jackson, who is said to have fathered a child out of wedlock, was the only one outside the family to have Chelsea's cellphone number, reports the New York Post.
Jackson is alleged to have reached out to Chelsea saying he felt sorry for her, and that she could call him if she needed a listening ear.
As for how Jackson managed to get her number, that's "another story," says Branch writes. (ANI)
