Woman kidnapped & held captive for 18 years
San Francisco, Aug 28: After spending 18 years with a convicted rapist as his 'sex slave', Jaycee Dugard returned to her family on Thursday, Aug 27.
11-year-old Jaycee who was kidnapped from a bus stop and was held captive for 18 years by 58-year-old Phillip Garrido in a rural area of Antioch, California. Over the years as a 'sex slave', she also gave birth to two children fathered by Garrido.
A police representative told a press conference that Garrido and his wife Nancy kept themselves in complete isolation. Neither did they let the children go to school, no to a doctor.
The police discovered Jaycee on Wednesday, Aug 27 when they questioned Garrido over some suspicious activity involving him and two children at the University of California, Berkeley.
