Bomb blast kills six in Peshawar, Taliban claims responsibility
Peshawar (NWFP, Pakistan), Aug.17 (ANI): At least six people were killed in a car bomb explosion that took place near a petrol station in the tribal dominated area of Charssada on Monday.
Among the dead were two women and three children. Eight persons were wounded in the attack, police said.
Police said the explosive was hidden in a box of medicine and given to the driver of the vehicle to deliver to a nearby village.
The timed device went off when the driver stopped to get petrol.
The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack. (ANI)
