Pak designer's fashion show proceeds to be used for NWFP displaced welfare

Arlington (Virginia, US), Aug.6 (ANI): Renowned Pakistani designer Deepak Perwani will organize a fashion show here on August 15, the proceeds of which will be used for the welfare of the over three million displaced persons in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province (NWFP).

The proceeds of the event will go to the American Fund for Human Development (AFHD). The event will take place at the Westin-Arlington Gateway in Arlington, Virginia.

Tickets for the show are available between 100 dollars and 2200 dollars. Regular admission tickets are available at 100 dollars, second row for 175 dollars, VIP for 250 dollars. To be seated at the Silver Table, invitees would have to pay 1000 dollars, 1500 dollars to be seated at the Gold Table and 2,200 dollars at the Platinum Table.

According to Perwani's invite, several keynote speakers will address the event.

They include Dr. Nasim Ashraf, Executive Director, Center for Pakistan Studies, Middle East Institute, Congressman Jim Moody, Chairman, American Fund for Human Development, former US Ambassador to Pakistan and now president of the Middle East Institute, Wendy Chamberlain and Perwani himself.

Hair and makeup Sponsor Solarus Salon and Spa, will offer a special 15 percent discount on all its services to guests during the week of the event

The event will also feature a silent auction of Perwani's couture creations, special luxury spa packages by Solarus Salon and Spa and Erwin Gomez Salon and Spa, Jewelry creations by Queen Bee Designs, personal training and gym membership by Synergy Fitness, rugs and accessories by Ariana Rug Gallery of Alexandria, Virginia and calligraphic paintings.
