Kate Middleton's 'rings swap' act fuels engagement rumors

London, July 26 (ANI): Kate Middleton has sparked fresh interests in the outcome of her romance with Prince William after going to bizarre lengths to swap two sparklers around on her fingers during an outing with her beau.

The 27-year-old was spotted sporting two rings next to each other on the second and third fingers of her right hand as she accompanied her boyfriend at a charity polo match in Gloucestershire.

But the "royal bride-in-waiting" later raised eyebrows after slipping one of the rings on to the second finger of her left hand, fuelling speculation if the prince had popped the question.

"Kate was her normal self and was wearing two rings on one hand, side by side. You wouldn't think anything of it," The Daily Star quoted one spectator as saying.

"Then she disappeared for a few minutes and when she came back she'd slipped one of the rings on to her left hand.

"It was a very strange thing to do and everyone was wondering what she meant and if she was trying to tell us all something about her and William," the spectator added. (ANI)
