Sarah Palin tweets quick tribute to mama grizzly bears
Washington, July 17 (ANI): Alaska Governor Sarah Palin tweeted a tribute to mama grizzly bears after her visit with wildlife biologists in Alaska on Wednesday.
Palin has been criticised for relating herself with a mother grizzly bear when describing her defence of her children.
"Great day w/bear management wildlife biologists; much to see in wild territory incl amazing creatures w/mama bears' gutteral raw instinct to protect and provide for her young," The Politico quoted Palin as saying on her Twitter page.
She further typed from her Blackberry: "She sees danger? She brazenly rises up on strong hind legs, growls Don't Touch My Cubs and the species survives and mama bear doesn't look 2 anyone else 2 hand her anything; biologists say she works harder than males, is provider/protector for the future."
"Yes it was another outstanding day in AK seeing things the rest of America should see; applicable life lessons we're blessed to see firsthand," she added.
During the height of the presidential campaign, Palin told New York's WWOR radio station: "The toughest thing has been the shots taken against the kids, against the family.
"They're my kids. The mama grizzly bear in me comes out, makes me want to rear up on my hind legs and say, 'Wait a minute,'" she added. (ANI)
