Pak among top 25 military spenders in world: Report

Lahore July 10 (ANI): Even though its economy is in shambles and it is facing countless problems, Pakistan is among the top 25 largest military spenders in the world.

A report by the Foreign Policy in Focus, a US-based think tank, Pakistan owns one of the most advanced Army in the world which possesses plenty of sophisticated arms and ammunitions.

According to the report, the Pakistan Army is as large as the US army.

With the United States offering a yearly aid of three million dollars and a huge stock of armaments already provided by it during the former President General Pervez Musharraf's regime, the Pakistan Army's strength has increased manifold, The Daily Times reports. (ANI)
